Announcement of the 10th Education Seminar in 2012 (the 2nd year)
We are pleased to inform that we will hold the 10th Education Seminar
(the 2nd year) as follows.
The objective of this seminar is to improve the skill and expertise
in extracorporeal circulation, and the participation in this seminar
is the eligibility for taking the qualification examination for
certified technician of extracorporeal circulation and one of the
requirements for its renewal.
We will invite the specialists who are working in various medical
fields from around the country to Hyogo Prefecture as lecturers.
They will give lectures containing basic information and hot topics
of newsy and specific issues.
The port town of Kobe has regained vitality after the Great Hanshin-Awaji
Earthquake, and early summer is the good season to visit Kobe and enjoy
the food, weather and sightseeing. You will be able to participate in
the seminar in a pleasant atmosphere.
The seminar at distant place may cause the members a great inconvenience,
but we are looking forward to many members participating in this seminar.

We are pleased to announce that we hold the 10th Education Seminar
(the 1st year) according to the following schedule.
The contents of the seminar are summarized in the sections below.
We hold this seminar aiming to improve the technology and knowledge related to
extracorporeal circulation.
Completion of this education seminar is one of the requirements for the
qualification examination for certified technician of extracorporeal circulation
and one of the requirements for renewal of the certification.
As usual, we invite the specialists who play leading roles in various medical
fields as lecturers. They shall give lectures on hot topics ranging from
basic
technology to latest information.
From 2011, we hold this education seminar twice a year at different sites.
The number of participants in Seminar 2, however, is limited to 100 and
preregistration is required. Many persons who are interested in extracorporeal
circulation are encouraged to attend this seminar.
From 2011, attending the practical seminar of artificial heart-lung technique
organized by Japan Society of Extracorporeal Circulation Technology
in Medicine
(JaSECT) is included in the requirements for completion.

JaSECT Practical Seminar (Registration has not started) |

A Practical Seminar will be held during the Educational Seminar in 2011.
Participants
will receive an attendance certificate.
For details, please see the information from the Education Board. Those
who will
take the perfusionist certifying examination in the future are recommended to
attend the seminar. The Practical Seminar will be a one-hour program
comprising a
15-minute lecture and a 45-minute practice. The number of participants
per
classroom will be five.
This Practical Seminar requires an advance registration. Applicants should
send an
e-mail in accordance with the application method below. If there is
no reply within
two days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) after application for the
Practical Seminar, please contact us again.
